“I had the pleasure of working with Ian during his brief time at Parametric as a contractor, and I am happy to report that Ian is the consummate professional. He has a great skill set and foundation in design, and was easily one of the most efficient folks I’ve had the chance to work. Super quick on the uptake, there was little hand holding, and when I threw a couple of curveballs his way, he took everything in stride. I would gladly jump at the chance to work with Ian again, and look forward to that opportunity should it arise. Ian is personable, and as aforementioned, professional, and you’d be lucky to have him as a teammate co-worker.”
– Paul Babbel, Art Director, Parametric Portfolio Associates
“Ian has been a critical member of our design team. In addition to solid aesthetic sensibilities, Ian has demonstrated a range of design skills and knowledge, from outdoor to print to digital to social. On top of his strong competencies, Ian has always shown a willingness to dive in to new subjects and learn new skills. Underneath his calm exterior is an active, inquisitive professional who has been a great addition for us.”
– Matt Grabowski, VP Marketing, Estars Studios
“We first hired Ian to help us design and format our menu changes at Giddy Up Burgers and Greens about a year after we opened. Ian worked seamlessly with our team and his commitment to improving our menu matched our own. Ian listens and asks the right questions which led to a very efficient work-flow. We hired Ian again this year because we wanted to make some deeper changes in design and content. Again, Ian has been extremely helpful … especially helpful is his experience in the restaurant industry as a graphic designer! I do not hesitate to recommend Ian as a great hire for your project.”
– Matt Garrity, Owner/Operator, Giddy Up Burgers and Greens
“Ian worked with me on a project for the Stax Museum of American Soul Music. I threw some rough ideas his way and relied on his artistic talents to expand on the ideas I had, where I wanted my suggestions and ideas expanded upon. My client and I were very pleased with the results. Any changes or additional tasks were welcomed by him and in the end, we pleased the client. I will definitely contact Ian again for future projects.”
– Reek Havok, Sr Sound Designer/Audio Technologist at The Walt Disney Company
“Ian is the graphic designer of your dreams. He excels in turning a makeshift vision into a full-blown reality, but can also openly receive specific creative direction to design visual assets with little (or no) revisions. He is innovative, intentional, and brand-aware for the various concepts we have worked on together. Operationally, he is extremely communicative, an attentive listener to direction, willing to jump on a quick call for clarification, never misses a deadline, and if he doesn’t know how to do something, he will offer that transparency then commit to learning the skill. I have contracted everything from digital banner ads to floor-to-ceiling murals from Ian and each time he has overdelivered on what we expected. Cannot sing his praises enough!”
– Erin James, Marketing & Media Manager, Ascend Hospitality
“I worked with Ian on a time-sensitive proposal, for which he provided long-form InDesign document layout and graphics. He worked very efficiently, listened well, and then executed exactly what I asked for. He met every deadline and was thorough, detailed, and methodical in making all the requested changes. Beyond that, he was great to work with! I would definitely work with him again.”
– Melissa Quezada, Principal, Quezada Consulting
“Our team hired Ian for our writing project, the Guides for Equitable Practice, as an ADA consultant and to ensure all 9 chapters of our indesigns/pdfs were ADA compliant. Ian was incredibly efficient, flexible working with ever-adjusting team schedules, and very knowledgeable about ADA compliance for pdf readers. He helped guide us through the process, including resolving some tricky situations with the reading order in each chapter. He was also happy to make some small edits to the text as well when we caught typos or other issues. He was key in helping us make these chapters more accessible and in helping us achieve our deadline. I would definitely contact Ian for future projects and would recommend him as a graphic designer to anyone.”
– Laura Osburn, Research Scientist, University of Washington

“Ian was a pleasure to work with. His inquisitive nature means he seeks to fully understand the task at hand, and is then able to work independently to get the job done.
